ROSARY MEDITATIONS FOR HEALING
When we are praying for healing we can proclaim specific graces that flow from the different acts of Jesus life for ourselves and for others. I have included some of the prayer insights that may assist you when you meditate on the Rosary mysteries.
The Joyful Mysteries
1. Annunciation
- Jesus filling me with Joy and hope
- Jesus’ word becoming alive within me
- Jesus overshadowing me with the power of His Holy Spirit
- Jesus blessing me in my mother’s womb
2. Visitation
- Jesus affirming me in faith
- Jesus shining his light into my life
3. The Birth of Jesus
- Jesus bringing the gift of salvation
- Jesus birthing me into a new life of grace
4. Presentation of Baby Jesus in the Temple
- Jesus inspiring Simeon’s proclamation of joy
- Jesus inspiring Anna to praise God and give witness
- Jesus a sign of contradiction to reveal peoples’ inner thoughts
- Jesus light to the nations and the glory of God’s people
5. The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple
- Jesus wholly dedicated to His Father’s affairs
- Jesus proclaiming the radical nature of the Gospel
- Jesus challenging us with the absolute demands of the Kingdom
The Sorrowful Mysteries
- The Agony in the garden
- Jesus in anguish before the will of Your Father
- Jesus embracing His Father’s will
- Jesus’ “yes” reversing Adam’s “no”
- Jesus encountering all the temptations and confronting all the sins of humanity
- Jesus in emotional pain
- Jesus faithful to the Father in His emotional pain
- Jesus enduring the tension of being faithful to His mission
2. The Scourging at the pillar
- Jesus in physical pain
- Jesus faithful to the will of His Father
- Jesus our co-sufferer
- Jesus abandoned by all His friends
3. The Crowning with Thorns
- Jesus being mocked and humiliated

4. The Carrying of the Cross

5. The Crucifixion
- Jesus the God who humbles Himself out of love

The Glorious Mysteries
1. The Resurrection
- Jesus as King of Glory
- Jesus empowering us with a new life of grace.
- Jesus, victorious over, temptations, sin and death
2. The Ascension
- Jesus filling us with his glory in times of doubt and fear.
- Jesus liberating us from being heavily burdened
- Jesus enabling us to believe in the promises of God.
3. The Descent of the Holy Spirit
- Jesus giving birth to the Church
- Jesus, anointing us with His Holy Spirit
- Jesus empowering us to evangelise and bring the” good news”
to the poor
4. Assumption
- Jesus giving us hope through Mary ‘s humility
- Jesus sharing His victory with Mary
- Jesus promising us our assumption
5. The Coronation
- Jesus bestowing upon Mary her intercessory prayer crown of mystical jewels.
- Jesus crowning Mary as Queen of Angels and Saints
- Jesus revealing Mary as a prayer role model for our lives.
